A fun and easy recipe

I know, we should be talking about books and sales and such...but I thought it would be interesting to offer a fun, easy recipe I've made with my son just in time for the heat of summer.

This cool drink is quick, easy, and fun. The kids will love it and you can make it up, stick it in the fridge and forget it until its time to drink.

1 Fresh squeezed Lemon - remove all seeds, you only want the juice.
1/2 cup sugar or you can use honey - just to take a bit of the edge off the tartness of the lemon.
2 L of cold, steeped tea. This is simple, just make tea as you normally would and let it get cold.
4 cups shaved or crushed ice (save till you're ready to pour)

Mix your lemon juice, sugar, and tea together. Place in fridge until 1 hour before you're ready to serve. Mix in the ice, and place in plastic, freezer safe containers. Stick in freeze for 1/2 hour or so until they start to set, take out and serve. You can add food coloring or flavored syrup. This will give it a bit of a fancy look and a kick to it.

This recipe is made to taste, if you prefer sweeter add more sugar, less sweet, less sugar. Because of the lemon juice and tea there's going to be a bit of a tartness to it...but on a hot summer day! Yum it hits the spot.
